A turn-key service

Based on technical specifications or data and measurements collected on your site, we define your needs in order to plan your future system.

We design your system by integrating our equipment into the environment: filter and its accessories, fan, ductwork, etc.

FB FILTRATION has its own engineering and design department dealing with industrial dust collection and adapting to the specific challenges of the various industries.
The 3D design of all your dust collectors and systems with the software SOLIDWORKS ensures optimal design times while providing customers with a realistic image of their future equipment.

We can meet your specific needs such as:

- Dust collection systems in compliance with the ATEX 2014/34/UE directive
- High temperature dust collectors (incineration, furnaces, biomass boilers...).
- Made to measure dust collectors.
- Dust collection ductwork with centralized filter.
- Ductwork for centralized cleaning.
- Stainless steel (304L, 316L, 316Ti, Duplex, Uranus), aluminum, polymer construction.
- Possibility of design, calculation and manufacture according to EN13445, EN14460, CODAP, ASME...
Example of an optimized installation: adjustment of the height of the filter frame for access to the cleaning system and the filter elements on the upper level, ‘’at ground level’’ (ideal for maintenance).
Example: dust removal in a neon recycling unit: filtration of glass dust + halo-phosphate powders + presence of mercury: combination of a cyclone, pocket collector and activated charcoal filters.

Your project: from design to commissioning

Step 1/9 – design
3D design with the software SOLIDWORKS.
Step 2/9 – manufacture
Manufacture of your dust collectors in painted steel, stainless steel or other on request.
Step 3/9 – surface treatment
Sandblasting + painting/pickling + passivation.
Step 4/9 – tests
Testing of cleaning systems in the workshop to ensure correct operation before delivery
Step 5/9 – packing
From dunnage on pallets to custom-made seaworthy packaging, your order is ready to be dispatched.
Step 6/9 – delivery
Once your order has been packed and loaded, delivery can begin.
Step 7/9 – assembly on site
According to customer wishes, on-site assembly can be carried out. A team will carry out the assembly after on-site delivery of all the equipment.
Step 8/9 - heat insulation
Partial (filter hopper only) or complete heat insulation prevents condensation from forming in the unit or the risk of burns to the operators (process: dryers, furnaces, roller mill, any application processing hot and/or humid gas).
Step 9/9 – commissioning
Once the previous steps have been completed, commissioning can be carried out: monitoring of adjustments, ductwork balancing and staff training.
(*) Partnership combining 2 organizations in a covered area of 10 000 m² :
- a manufacturing organization; laser cutting, sheet metal, mechanized welding, CNC bending.
- a surface coating organization: sandblasting, powder painting, liquid painting.

Audit and expertise of your dedusting installations

- inspection of the plant operating conditions /full measurement readings (velocities/flow rates, pressures, temperatures...).

Adjustment of your installations

- measurements of existing system (velocities/flow rates, pressures, temperatures...).

- adjustments of the flow rates/ ductwork balancing.

Revamping of old filters cleaned by shaking / all brands filters modification

Revamping an old shaking filter consists of :
- removing the mechanical shaking system from the bags located at the top of the filter.
- replacing with clean new air chambers with compressed air cleaning system.
- removing the internal filter partitions while reinforcing from the exterior.

The advantages of revamping are multiple:
- increase in filter capacity (possibility of filtering higher gas flows): powerful cleaning technology/ recovery of the old cell ‘’not used’’ during the cleaning operation/increase in filter surface area.

- replacement of the shaking cleaning system (very expensive in terms of maintenance: many mechanical parts) by a more powerful and economical cleaning system (limited number and cost of wear parts).

- faster replacement of the filter bags and under significantly improved working conditions: for shaker filters, bag replacement is carried out on the dirty air side. With our compressed air cleaning filters, bag replacement is carried out on the clean air side.
